Cailley Lombardo is Disney’s Newest Producer/Editor

Lombardo surrounded by Nickelodeon products
“If working in the media industry has taught me anything, it is to always keep learning and continue pushing yourself to reach your goals.”
Cailley Lombardo has celebrated successes at Nickelodeon, Paramount and MTV, and recently has started working for Disney Entertainment.
Lombardo started her career in 2016 as a MTV News intern during her senior year, and quickly worked her way up to Production Assistant! But with MTV’s high-pressure news environment, she soon decided she wanted something slower-paced.
Just two years later, Lombardo began working as a Producer and Editor for Paramount at Nickelodeon Studios in New York, creating content for 9 different YouTube channels, including Spongebob Squarepants, Nicktoons, and NickRewind. From her nostalgic, audience-driven lead, NickRewind grew from 1 million to an astonishing 2.78 million subscribers!
“It has definitely been a wild ride,” Lombardo says. “I am so grateful for the opportunity to watch cartoons for a living.”
For Lombardo, working at Paramount has meant having longer lead times on digital projects, which allows for more creative risks. One shining example of Lombardo’s work is her advertisement of the film Smile 2 (2024), where she closely collaborated with the movie’s internal design team, marketing team, and a voiceover actor to write, produce, and edit an outstanding promotion video.
Unfortunately, a company merger ended Lombardo’s seven-year career with Nickelodeon. However, this split gave her an opportunity carry the skills she developed at previous positions into a new role. Lombardo is now working for Disney Entertainment as a Producer/Editor for several of their YouTube channels.
“The best part is that I still get to create children’s content for YouTube.”
Cailley Lombardo graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2016 with a BA in Mass Communications with a telecommunications and video production focus.

The Janitor: A Husky Vision Film
In Husky Vision’s newest short film, written and directed by Jack Fallon, Sam Connelly plays as a janitor working the night shift in Centennial. The horror comedy spans 5 minutes and features three characters: the janitor, the building’s night guard, and a mysterious killer. “The Janitor” is the club’s first short film since late 2024 and marks the first film under the club’s recent name change from NBS (National Broadcasting Society).
Creative filmmaking has always been a staple pursuit within the enduring club, with everything from romance flicks to comedic commercials. After the COVID-19 pandemic however, the club shifted to a different focus that featured more interview-style and news productions, with less creative narratives.
Husky Vision is reinstating core values of the club’s past through “The Janitor.” But many of their projects from previous years remain ongoing.
The pilot episode of No Recipe Requires features two Bloomsburg students attempting to make a pumpkin pie without - you guessed it - a recipe! The show is adjacent to a previously produced cooking show on their channel, which features the making and history of the perfect hamburger. What food will Husky Vision cover next?
Husky Vision is also producing the news show Husky Headlines, as well as the Not So Live podcast with host Christian Thomas. Find them on TikTok at @BloomsburgNBS, or stop by their weekly meeting every Tuesday at 6:30p.m. in McCormick!
