As we enter a new era for BUnow, the executive team aims to offer monthly updates about student-created media content to all the subscribers and supporters of our organization.

BUnow was created as an online news site for university students and community members to read about what is happening on campus. Over the years various other media clubs sprouted and created a larger online presence - pushing BUnow to create a new purpose.

Professor John-Erik Koslosky recently stepped into the role of BUnow’s advisor, with plans to shape a new and continuous future of BUnow. Our organization’s original advisor and composer, Dr. Richard Ganahl, stepped down from his position to focus on teaching classes and the writing of his textbooks.

Koslosky, along with the executive team, wanted to create something that would make BUnow stand out from the rest of the media organizations at Bloomsburg University. This year, BUnow serves as a hub for all media organizations, which can request to showcase their work on both the BUnow newsletter and website.

Media and Journalism and Mass Comm alumni and supporters have not been properly updated throughout the years on the success of CU-Bloomsburg media organizations. Our biweekly newsletters will give them an insight on what is happening in these organizations, and the best projects that media students have accomplished during the semester.

BUnow hopes to foster a stronger CU-Bloomsburg media community, with collaboration and support throughout all content-creation clubs on campus.
